The Company
Tesoro Homes and Development, Ltd. was founded in 2002 by Clay Schlinke with the goal of bringing home ownership to every person regardless of their situation. Tesoro Homes currently operates in San Antonio, Del Rio and the Rio Grande Valley with plans to expand into other Texas markets. Homes in these markets are priced from the $60's to the $100's. Tesoro Homes provides truly affordable quality built homes.
In 2004 Clay saw a demand for multi-family properties for investors and home owners alike. Tesoro Homes expanded their operations to meet this demand and have developed numerous projects in the San Antonio area. For the future, Tesoro Homes plans to expand across the nation providing this type of product for past and future investors.
The Owner
Clay Schlinke graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994 with a degree in Management, specializing in Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Clay began Access Real Estate Investments, Ltd., an investment company purchasing primarily single family homes. During this time, Clay saw a demand for a high quality built home that is priced affordably for all buyers, with creative and aggresive financing available. This is exactly the type of housing that Tesoro Homes provides. Tesoro Homes, through hard work and compassion, strives to bring affordable high quality properties to every segment of the market.
